Bring your Cozi calendar with you
- In Cozi, share your calendar as a link. Cozi can make a calendar address for one family member or for everyone, meant for Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
- In Kithful, go to Plan → Schedule → Connected calendars and paste that link. Tag it to the person it belongs to so their events wear their color. Kithful checks it for changes every few hours.
- Screenshot your lists and recipes. Kithful reads a screenshot of a grocery list or a recipe into items you check before saving.
A connected calendar is a live link: it shows what’s in Cozi for as long as that Cozi calendar exists. Once you’re settled, add new events in Kithful itself.
What Kithful does
A family calendar with no date limit
Week and month views, a color for each person, reminders on every event, and no cutoff on how far ahead you plan. Add events by photo of a school or sports schedule, a PDF, a pasted text (“practice Thursday 6pm”), or typing. Your Google, iCloud or Outlook calendars, work ones too, can sit on the same calendar.
To-dos with who’s on what
Give each to-do to a person, add a time and a reminder, make it repeat, and snooze it. A list of about 40 common house jobs (furnace filter, gutters, oil change) sets up the ones you tick at sensible intervals, the same ones on our home maintenance schedule.
Chores and Kid Mode
Kids tap “I did it!” on a big-button screen, a grown-up approves, and the app keeps track of allowance or screen time. Chores can take turns between kids. More on the chore chart.
Meals, recipes and a grocery list that knows things
A weekly meal plan, your own recipe box, and a shared list sorted by store and aisle. Snap a grocery receipt and Kithful tracks what’s in the house, what’s about to expire, and which of this week’s local sales match what you actually buy.
What’s different — honestly
It doesn’t read your email. Things come in by photo, PDF, pasted text or typing.
It’s a web app for now. You add it to your home screen from the browser; there’s no App Store or Google Play version yet.
It’s newer and smaller. Cozi has been around for years. Kithful is in early access, inviting families a few at a time.
It asks before saving. Anything read from a photo lands in a review you confirm, so a misread date never slips onto the calendar.
